How I Got on Broadway is a new podcast that explores the real-life journeys of theater professionals and how they landed their first Broadway jobs. The goal of the podcast is to demystify the path to success in commercial theater, especially for individuals from historically underrepresented communities.

This podcast provides access by pulling back the curtain on stories that are rarely told and offering transparent conversation about what it truly takes to make it to Broadway in any capacity. Figuring out how to break into the theater industry can feel confusing and intimidating. We want to make the path a little clearer.

This is both an educational resource and a celebration of the many, non-linear ways people can break into the industry. There is no single path to Broadway. By sharing stories from diverse backgrounds and experiences, we hope to challenge preconceived ideas about who gets to take space and make space in the commercial theater landscape.
